Unbeknownst to Anirudh, Saudamini had been watching him from the shadows, a sly smile spreading across her face. She had been waiting for the perfect moment to strike, and now she saw her chance.
As she gazed at Anirudh's tear-stained face, she felt a thrill of excitement. She had always known that he was the key to winning Bondita's heart, and now she saw her chance to use him to her advantage.
Saudamini's smile grew wider as she thought of her plan. She would comfort Anirudh, pretend to be his friend, and slowly but surely, she would turn him against Bondita.
She crept closer, her eyes fixed on Anirudh's face, and whispered, "Anirudh, I'm so sorry to see you like this."
Anirudh, still caught up in his sorrow, didn't notice Saudamini's approach. But as he heard her voice, he turned to her, his eyes red and puffy.
Saudamini's smile grew even wider as she saw the vulnerability in his eyes. She knew she had him right where she wanted him.
Saudamini's voice was like honey, sweet and soothing, as she spoke to Anirudh. "Let me help you, Anirudh. Let me be your friend. I know how much you love Bondita, and I want to help you win her back."
Anirudh's eyes searched hers, desperate for a glimmer of hope. He wanted to believe her, wanted to trust her. And so, he nodded, letting his guard down.
Saudamini's smile grew even wider as she saw her chance. She began to spin a web of deceit, telling Anirudh that Bondita's father was the one who had driven them apart, that he was the one who didn't want them to be together.
Anirudh's anger grew with each passing moment, his heart filling with resentment towards Bondita's father. He didn't notice Saudamini's subtle manipulations, didn't see the way she was using him for her own gain.
As the days passed, Saudamini's grip on Anirudh tightened. She fueled his anger, his hurt, and his resentment, using them to drive a wedge between him and Bondita.
And Anirudh, blind to her deceit, didn't realize that he was playing right into her hands. He didn't see that Saudamini was using him to destroy the very thing he wanted most - his love for Bondita.
Anirudh's anger simmered, a pot left unattended, until it finally boiled over. He couldn't think straight, couldn't reason, all he could feel was a burning rage towards Bondita's father.
Saudamini fanned the flames, whispering poisonous words in his ear. "He's the one who tore you apart, Anirudh. He's the one who doesn't want you to be happy."
Anirudh's mind was consumed by visions of revenge, of making Bondita's father pay for what he had done. He began to distance himself from his friends, from anyone who tried to calm him down.
His eyes took on a hard, cold glint, his smile twisted into a snarl. He was no longer the Anirudh that Bondita loved, but a shadow of his former self, driven by anger and hatred.
Saudamini watched with satisfaction, her plan unfolding perfectly. She had turned Anirudh against Bondita's father, and soon, she would turn him against Bondita herself.
Over time, Anirudh became a completely different person. To Saudamini, he was kind and attentive, always willing to listen to her and make her happy.
But to others, he was a completely different man. He was rude and disagreeable, always ready to erupt in anger.
His friends tried to talk to him, tried to make him see that he was being manipulated by Saudamini, but Anirudh wouldn't listen.
"Leave me alone," he would say. "Saudamini is the only one who understands me."
And so, Anirudh drifted away from his friends, away from the people who truly cared about him. And he drew closer and closer to Saudamini, who was using him for her own purposes.
Saudamini smiled to herself, satisfied with the progress she had made. Anirudh was completely under her control, and soon, Bondita would be too.
But what Saudamini didn't know was that Bondita's friend told her about all the changes in Anirudh to her somehow and she knew it could be no one other than his wife, Saudamini, and she wasn't about to let Saudamini get away with it.
_______________
Bondita had been trapped in her house for weeks, her father's prisoner. But she couldn't shake off the memories of Anirudh, and she longed to see him again.
One day, she saw her chance. Her father was distracted, and she managed to slip out of the house unnoticed. She ran as fast as she could, her heart pounding with excitement and fear.
Finally, she reached Anirudh's house and knocked on the door. Bihari opened it, and there she saw Anirudh sitting with a pale, lifeless body in the living room. He stood up leading towards his room but his eyes fell on the main gate suddenly , his eyes shocked, happy, crying when he saw Bondita standing there.
"Bondita! How did you...?" he started to ask, but Bondita just shook her head. He opened his arms inviting her.
"No time to explain," she said, rushing into his arms. "I've missed you so much."
Anirudh held her close, feeling his heart soar with happiness with non stop tears. "I've tried to see you so many times," he whispered. "But your father never let me. I was starting to think I'd never see you again."
Bondita pulled back, looking up at him with tears in her eyes. "I've missed you too," she said. "I was starting to think I'd never escape."
Anirudh's face darkened with anger. "I'll never let him keep us apart again," he vowed. "We'll find a way to be together, no matter what."
Bondita smiled, feeling a sense of hope she hadn't felt in weeks. Maybe, just maybe, they could make it work.
Anirudh's face lit up with excitement as he shouted for Saudamini. "Saudamini! Prepare a room for Bondita, she'll be staying with us from now on!"
Saudamini appeared, a sweet smile plastered on her face. "Of course, Anirudh. I'll prepare the best room for her."
But Bondita saw right through her facade. She knew Saudamini was seething with anger and resentment. She gave Saudamini a sarcastic smile and a comment that left both Anirudh and Saudamini confused.
"Oh, how sweet of you, Saudamini. I'm sure you're just thrilled to have me here. After all, who wouldn't want their husband's girlfriend living with them?"
Saudamini's smile faltered for a moment, and Anirudh looked at Bondita in confusion. "What do you mean, Bondita? Saudamini is happy to have you here."
Bondita just raised an eyebrow. "Of course she is, Anirudh. That's why she's practically glowing with joy."
Saudamini's eyes narrowed, but she kept her cool. "I'm just happy to see Anirudh happy, Bondita. That's all."
But Bondita knew the truth. Saudamini was boiling inside, and she was just waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Saudamini's eyes flashed with anger, but she quickly masked it with a sweet smile. "I'll go prepare the room now," she said, her voice dripping with honey.
As Saudamini walked away, Bondita turned to Anirudh. "You really trust her, don't you?" she asked, her voice laced with skepticism.
Anirudh nodded, oblivious to the tension between the two women. "Of course, I do. Saudamini has been a rock for me, Bondita."
Bondita raised an eyebrow. "I'm sure she has," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Saudamini returned with a key in hand. "The room is ready," she said, her smile still plastered on her face. "I'll show you the way, Bondita."
As they walked to the room, Bondita couldn't shake off the feeling that Saudamini was hiding something. She seemed too sweet, too accommodating. Bondita's instincts told her that Saudamini had a hidden agenda, and she was determined to find out what it was.
Bondita's eyes sparkled with mischief as she asked Saudamini, "Saudamini, would you please be a darling and send Anirudh to my room? I want to spend some quality time with him."
Saudamini's face turned beet red with rage, but she forced a sweet smile onto her lips. "Of course, Bondita. I'll send him right away."
As Saudamini walked away, Bondita could see the anger simmering beneath her polished exterior. She knew she had pushed Saudamini's buttons, and she was determined to keep pushing.
Saudamini returned with Anirudh , he brought medicines for her, who was still oblivious to the tension between the two women. "Here's Anirudh, Bondita. Enjoy your time together."
Bondita's smile grew wider as she took Anirudh's hand in hers. "Thank you, Saudamini. You're too kind."
Saudamini's eyes flashed with anger, but she bit back her retort. She knew Bondita was trying to provoke her, and she wasn't going to give her the satisfaction.
As Saudamini walked away, Bondita could see the storm brewing inside her. She knew she had to be careful, but she was determined to expose Saudamini's true colors to Anirudh. Little did she know, Saudamini had few more tricks in sleeves.
As soon as Saudamini left the room, Bondita ran towards Anirudh, her heart overflowing with emotion. Anirudh opened his arms wide, and Bondita fell into them, tears of joy streaming down her face.
"Anirudh," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
Anirudh held her tightly, his own tears of joy mingling with hers. "Bondita, my love," he whispered back. "I've missed you so much."
Bondita felt like she was home again, safe in Anirudh's arms. She felt his warmth, his love, and his tears, and she knew that she was exactly where she was meant to be.
As they held each other, Anirudh's tears fell onto Bondita's hair, and she felt his heart beating against hers. She knew that their love was strong enough to overcome any obstacle, and she was grateful to be back in his arms.
But little did they know, Saudamini was watching them from the shadows, her heart burning with anger and jealousy. She knew that she had lost Anirudh to Bondita.
Saudamini watched Anirudh and Bondita's emotional reunion, her eyes narrowing with anger and resentment. She touched her stomach, a sly smile spreading across her face.
"I won't let this girl take my place ever," she whispered to herself, her voice dripping with malice.
Saudamini's eyes flashed with fury as she turned away from the scene, her mind racing with sinister thoughts. She couldn't bear the thought of Bondita stealing Anirudh away from her.
As she stormed out of the room, Saudamini's anger boiled over. She couldn't let Bondita win. She had to come up with a plan to destroy Bondita's happiness and reclaim Anirudh's love for herself.
Saudamini's smile grew wider as she thought of a devious plan. She would stop at nothing to get what she wanted. Bondita had no idea what was coming her way.
"I'll show her," Saudamini hissed to herself. "I'll show her what it means to mess with me."
____________
Anirudh and Bondita sat together, holding each other tightly as they cried tears of joy.
"I was so scared I'd never see you again," Bondita whispered, her voice trembling.
Anirudh smiled through his tears. "You're only 14, and yet you show so much courage," he teased. "I'm the one who should be protecting you, not the other way around."
Bondita playfully hit his chest. "Hey, I can take care of myself!"
Anirudh chuckled. "I know you can, my little warrior. But I'm still proud of you."
Bondita's face turned red as Anirudh's eyes locked onto hers. "I love you, Anirudh," she whispered.
"I love you too, Bondita," Anirudh replied, his voice filled with emotion. "More than anything in this world."
As they hugged again, Anirudh whispered in her ear, "You're still too young for me, you know that?"
Bondita giggled. "Shut up, I'm mature for my age!"
Anirudh laughed. "I know you are, my little Bondita. That's why I love you."
Their romantic moment was filled with laughter and tears, a mix of emotions that only they could understand.
Anirudh's eyes sparkled with mischief as he whispered in Bondita's ear, "You know, for a 14-year-old, you're quite the seductress."
Bondita's face turned bright red as she playfully hit his chest. "Anirudh, stop it!"
Anirudh chuckled. "What? I'm just stating the truth. You've got me wrapped around your finger, Bondita."
Bondita looked down, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're making me blush."
Anirudh's grin grew wider. "That's the idea. I want to make you blush all the way to your toes."
Bondita's eyes darted up to meet his, a playful glint in her eye. "You're shameless, Anirudh."
Anirudh's voice dropped to a whisper. "And you're deliciously innocent. It's a deadly combination, Bondita."
Bondita's face grew even redder as she looked away, trying to hide her smile. Anirudh's playful banter had left her feeling shy and giggly.
Bondita tried to compose herself, but Anirudh's teasing had left her feeling fluttery inside. "You're impossible, Anirudh," she said, trying to sound stern.
Anirudh chuckled. "That's what makes me lovable, my dear. Now, tell me, what's a beautiful girl like you doing with a charming man like me?"
Bondita rolled her eyes. "You're full of yourself, aren't you?"
Anirudh grinned. "Maybe a little. But someone's got to keep you on your toes, Bondita."
Bondita smiled slyly. "I think I can handle you, Anirudh."
Anirudh's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots. Bring it on, little one."
Their playful banter was filled with laughter and flirtation, leaving them both breathless and wanting more. As they sat together, hands touching, they both knew that their love was something special.
Bondita's expression turned serious as she asked, "Where's your father, Anirudh? And Kaka Susur ji?"
Anirudh's smile faltered for a moment before he replied, "They've gone out of the village for some property work. They'll be back soon."
Bondita's eyes narrowed slightly. "Property work? What kind of property work?"
Anirudh shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure. Father didn't tell me much. But I'm sure it's nothing to worry about."
Bondita's gaze lingered on Anirudh's face, searching for any signs of concern. But he seemed genuinely unconcerned, so she let the matter drop. For now.
Just then, a servant entered the room, bowing low. "Anirudh babu, Saudamini Bahu is calling for you."
Anirudh's expression turned wary. "What does she want now?"
Bondita's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Maybe she's finally realized her mistake of marrying you"
Anirudh chuckled. "I doubt it. But I'll go see what she wants."
As Anirudh got up to leave, Bondita's hand instinctively went to his arm. "Be careful, Anirudh. She's not to be trusted.
Anirudh shrugged off Bondita's warning, a grin spreading across his face. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots. Saudamini ji, the fierce one."
Bondita giggled at his teasing tone. "You're not taking me seriously, as usual."
Anirudh chuckled. "Of course not. You're just trying to protect me from the big bad Saudamini."
Bondita playfully hit his arm. "Hey, she's not someone to be trifled with. But I suppose you'll learn that soon enough."
Anirudh's grin grew wider. "I'm counting on you to protect me, my little warrior."
Bondita's laughter filled the room, and Anirudh joined in, their joy infectious. For a moment, they forgot about Saudamini and her schemes, lost in their own little world of happiness.
As they laughed together, Anirudh's eyes locked onto Bondita's, his gaze filled with adoration. Bondita's heart skipped a beat, her love for him overflowing. In this moment, nothing else mattered.
