Forced Marriage, Again!!

Saudamini's gaze drifted into the distance, her eyes misty with memories of a deep, soothing voice. She remembered the way he'd surprise her with her favorite golgappe every evening, the way his presence made her feel safe. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she thought of him.

Just then, Anirudh appeared, concern etched on his face. "Saudamini, are you okay?"

She hastily wiped away her tears, forcing a smile. "Yes, I'm fine."

Anirudh's eyes lingered, unsure if he believed her. "What's on your mind? You seem lost in thought."

Saudamini hesitated, unsure how to broach the subject. "I was just wondering...about Bondita. You've mentioned her before. What's she like?"

Anirudh's expression turned guarded. "She's just a friend, Saudamini. Don't worry about it."

But Saudamini noticed a faint glimmer of sadness in his eyes, a tear escaping before he quickly looked away. She sensed a deep pain, a longing he couldn't express.

As they continued talking, the conversation felt strained, both of them tiptoeing around unspoken emotions. Saudamini couldn't shake the feeling that Anirudh was hiding something, that his heart belonged to someone else.

Saudamini: "Anirudh, I know there's something you're not telling me. Please, be honest with me."

Anirudh: "Saudamini, I...I don't know what you're talking about."

Saudamini: "Don't lie to me, Anirudh. I see the pain in your eyes when you mention Bondita's name. Who is she to you?"

Anirudh: "She's just a friend, Saudamini. Really."

Saudamini: "I don't believe you. You're hiding something from me, and it's tearing me apart."

And other side Bondita was with her memories of anirudh and her.

Bondita's thoughts drifted back to Anirudh, her heart aching with longing. She remembered his promise, his kiss on her cheek, and the way he made her feel like she was home.

She wondered if he ever thought of her, if he ever regretted his decision to marry Saudamini. Bondita's eyes welled up with tears as she realized she might never know the answer.

The two conversations continued, each couple navigating their complex emotions, unaware of the heartache and longing that connected them all.

Saudamini: "Anirudh, what's your favorite song?"

Anirudh: (pausing, a faint smile on his lips) "Actually, I have one. 'Piyu Bole'."

Saudamini: (curious) "Oh, I love that song! What's the story behind it?"

Anirudh: (lost in thought) "It's just...someone used to play it for me all the time. And over time, it became my favorite too."

Saudamini: (noticing the faraway look in his eyes) "Someone? Who?"

Anirudh: (snapping back to reality) "Oh, just a friend. It's not important."

Saudamini: (pressing on) "No, tell me. I want to know."

Anirudh: (sighing) "It was Bondita. She'd play it on her phone, and we'd listen together. It brings back memories."

Saudamini's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing the depth of Anirudh's emotions. She realized that "Piyu Bole" was more than just a song to him; it was a connection to Bondita, a reminder of their time together.

_______

The scene shifted to Bondita's home, where a heated argument was unfolding between her parents, Sarmistha and Rudr.

Sarmistha: (her voice raised) "Rudr, how many times have I told you to stop drinking? But you never listen! You're throwing away your life, and ours, with this addiction!"

Rudr: (slurring his words) "Mind your own business, Sarmistha! I can handle my liquor. You're always nagging me, never trusting me..."

Sarmistha: (tearfully) "Trust you? How can I trust you when you come home drunk every day? What about Bondita's future? What about our family's well-being?"

Rudr: (stumbling) "Bondita's future is secure...I've arranged her marriage...good family...good boy..."

Sarmistha: (outraged) "You've arranged her marriage? Without even consulting me? Or Bondita herself?"

Rudr: (defiantly) "I'm her father...I know what's best for her...you always question my decisions..."

The argument escalated, with Sarmistha's tears and Rudr's angry shouts filling the room. Bondita, sensing the tension, slowly made her steps towards her room , her heart heavy with worry and sadness.

Bondita's eyes widened in distress as her father's words echoed in her mind. She felt like she'd been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her. She thought of Anirudh, and her heart raced with anxiety. What would happen if he found out about the arranged marriage? Would he still love her? Could they ever be together?

She began to pace back and forth in her room, her mind racing with thoughts of rebellion. She couldn't marry someone else! She loved Anirudh, and she wanted to spend her life with him. The thought of being with anyone else was unbearable.

As the tension built up inside her, Bondita's emotions boiled over. She started crying, her sobs shaking her entire body. She hit her own thighs, her fists clenched in frustration. "Why can't they understand me? Why can't they see that I love Anirudh?"

She felt trapped, like her life was being decided for her without her consent. Bondita's anger and desperation grew, her tears falling like rain as she whispered Anirudh's name, her heart aching with longing.

Bondita's thoughts spiraled into a vortex of despair as she remembered Anirudh's situation. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of hopelessness. "Why is this happening to us? Why are we both being forced into loveless marriages?"

She thought of Anirudh, trapped in a marriage with Saudamini, and her heart went out to him. She knew exactly how he felt - suffocated, helpless, and desperate.

Bondita's questioning turned inward, her mind taunting her with cruel what-ifs. "What if I had spoken up earlier? What if I had told my father about Anirudh? What if I had fought harder for our love?"

She felt like she was losing herself, like her dreams and desires were being crushed by the weight of societal expectations. Bondita's tears fell like rain, her sobs echoing through the silence of her room.

In that moment, she felt like she was staring into the abyss, with no safety net to catch her if she fell. Her fate seemed cruel, her love for Anirudh doomed from the start.

_______

As Anirudh hasn't seen Bondita from last 1 week, he felt bad.

Anirudh's eyes searched for Bondita's familiar smile, but it was nowhere to be found. She walked past him, her gaze cast down, her shoulders slumped. He felt a pang of concern, his heart racing with a mix of emotions.

"Bondita!" he called out, but she didn't flinch.

He quickened his pace, his footsteps matching hers. "Bondita, wait!"

But she kept walking, oblivious to his presence.

Anirudh's grip on her wrist was gentle but firm, pulling her to a stop. Bondita stumbled, her body colliding with his. He felt a spark of electricity as she landed on his chest, her face inches from his.

For a moment, they just stared at each other, the world around them melting away. Anirudh's eyes searched for answers, but Bondita's gaze was a mask, hiding her emotions.

" Bondita, what's wrong?" he whispered, his voice laced with concern.

But she just shook her head, her eyes welling up with tears, and Anirudh knew that something was terribly wrong.

Bondita: (her voice barely audible) "Anirudh, let me go."

Anirudh: (his grip tightening) "No, not until you tell me what's wrong. You've been avoiding me for weeks, and I can see the pain in your eyes. What's happening, Bondita?"

Bondita: (her eyes downcast) "Nothing, Anirudh. leave me please."

Anirudh: (his voice softening) "I can't leave you alone, Bondita. I care about you too much. Is it something I did? Did I hurt you?"

Bondita: (her voice cracking) "You didn't do anything, Anirudh. It's just...my life is falling apart."

Anirudh: (his grip loosening) "What do you mean? Tell me, Bondita. I'm here for you."

Bondita: (her eyes meeting his) "My father arranged my marriage, Anirudh. I don't want to marry anyone else. I want to be with you."

Anirudh's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing with the implications. He felt like he'd been punched in the gut, his breath knocked out of him.

Anirudh's eyes locked onto Bondita's, his heart racing with a mix of emotions. He felt a surge of love and protectiveness towards her, but also a sense of helplessness.

"Who is the guy?" Anirudh asked, his voice low and even.

Bondita shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "I don't know. My father didn't tell me. But I don't care. I won't marry anyone else, Anirudh. I want to be with you."

Anirudh's grip on her wrist tightened. "We'll figure something out, Bondita. We'll find a way to be together."

But deep down, Anirudh knew it wouldn't be easy. His own marriage to Saudamini was a complicated web of family obligations and societal expectations. And now, Bondita's arranged marriage added another layer of complexity to their situation.

As they stood there, locked in a desperate embrace, Anirudh knew that their love was about to face its toughest challenge yet.

Meanwhile, Saudamini was watching them from afar, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. She had been noticing Anirudh's distant behavior and Bondita's sudden absence from his life. And now, she saw them together, their emotions raw and exposed.

Saudamini's mind began to spin with thoughts of distress and hurt. She would not let Bondita come back in his life again.

As the vortex of memories and emotions subsided, Bondita found herself trembling in Anirudh's arms. He held her close, his warmth and strength enveloping her like a shield.

"Shh, Bondita, I'm here," he whispered, his voice soft and soothing. "I've got you. We'll get through this together."

He continued to hold her, his hands stroking her hair and back in gentle, comforting motions. Bondita felt her tears subside, replaced by a sense of safety and security.

Anirudh kissed her forehead, his lips warm and gentle. "We'll face whatever comes next together, okay?" he said, his eyes locked on hers. "I promise."

Bondita nodded, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. She knew she could trust Anirudh, that he would always be there to support and protect her.

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, inner voice broke the silence. "The truth about yourselves is not always easy to accept," she said, her eyes filled with a deep wisdom. "But with courage and love, you can overcome even the darkest challenges."

Anirudh and Bondita exchanged a glance, their hearts filled with determination and hope. They knew that as long as they had each other, they could face anything that came their way.

That's when Anirudh realized that Bondita was still shaking, her eyes wide with fear. He tightened his hold on her, trying to infuse her with his own strength.

"Hey, look at me," he whispered, his voice soft and gentle. "We're in this together, okay? We'll face whatever comes next, hand in hand."

Bondita's gaze slowly shifted to his, her eyes locking onto his with a desperate intensity. Anirudh's heart went out to her, and he knew he had to keep her safe.

"I'm here, Bondita," he repeated, his voice filled with conviction. "I won't let anything happen to you. We'll get through this together."

Slowly but surely, Bondita's trembling subsided, replaced by a sense of calm determination. She nodded, her eyes still locked on Anirudh's.

"Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Anirudh smiled, his heart swelling with love and admiration for this strong, brave woman. "Anytime, Bondita," he replied. "We're in this together, always."

As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, inner voice broke the silence once more. "The journey ahead will be challenging," she said, "but with love and courage, you can overcome even the darkest obstacles."

And with that, the mystical forest began to fade away, leaving Anirudh and Bondita standing alone, hand in hand, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

Bondita's gaze lingered on Anirudh's face, her eyes searching for something. Then, a soft smile spread across her lips.

Anirudh's curiosity was piqued. "Why are you smiling?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Bondita's smile grew wider, but she shook her head. "Nothing," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Anirudh's eyes narrowed, his mind racing. And then, it clicked. He remembered their conversation days ago, when he had told her they couldn't be together because of his arranged marriage.

A slow smile spread across his face as he realized what Bondita was thinking. "You're thinking about what I said, aren't you?" he asked, his voice filled with amusement. "About us not being able to be together?"

Bondita's smile faltered for a moment, before she nodded.

Anirudh's smile grew wider. "Sometimes, when it comes to loved ones, you need to deny what's right," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "Because what's right isn't always what's best."

And with that, he pulled Bondita into a tight hug, holding her close as if he never wanted to let her go. Bondita's arms wrapped around him, holding him just as tightly.

In that moment, they both knew that nothing else mattered. They were together, and that's all that counted.

As they hugged, the tension between them dissipated, replaced by a sense of comfort and belonging. Anirudh's words echoed in Bondita's mind - "sometimes, you need to deny what's right" - and she knew he was right. Being with him felt right, no matter what the world said.

After a long moment, they pulled back, hands still clasped together. Anirudh's eyes searched hers, as if seeking confirmation of their unspoken understanding.

Bondita nodded, a soft smile on her lips. "I'm glad we're in this together," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Anirudh's face lit up with a radiant smile. "Me too," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "We'll face whatever comes next, together."

As they stood there, hands entwined, the world around them melted away. They knew that their love was strong enough to overcome any obstacle, no matter how daunting.

But little did they know, their happiness was short-lived. A figure watched them from the shadows, a figure who would stop at nothing to tear them apart.

And as Anirudh and Bondita walked hand in hand, they had no idea that their greatest challenge was yet to come.

As they walked, the figure in the shadows followed, their eyes fixed on the couple with a mixture of anger and sadness. It was Saudamini, Anirudh's Wife, who had been watching them from afar.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Anirudh, her husband , was holding hands with another woman.

Laughter and playful teasing filled the air as Anirudh and Bondita walked hand in hand, oblivious to Saudamini. Bondita leaned into Anirudh, her head on his shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close.

"You're so silly," Bondita whispered, her voice barely audible.

Anirudh grinned mischievously. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here."

Bondita playfully rolled her eyes. "You're impossible, Anirudh."

Anirudh chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "That's why you love me."

Bondita's cheeks flushed, but she couldn't deny the truth in his words.
